Old Stuff for Right Now: God, Grace, and Main

My name is Mitchell Dick.  I have been given sixty-four years now, thirty-one of them lived as a preacher and pastor, a minister verbi deo et sacramentorum, or something Latin like that.

Used to be a time when I objected to blogs.  Not just the blogs of objectionable content.  But blogs as such.  Technology and internet have been too much for me.  I cannot keep up.  I get too distracted and overwhelmed by all the information and entertainment.   Then, if the power goes out, I am toast.  And I realize how trapped by that spider in that web I have become.

Old School.  Tending to Amish.  Liking to dive deep and not to surf.  Call it what you like.  Allergic to blogs and blogging.  But here I am attempting to blog.   At the request of some people close to me.  Hopefully to share some wisdom from God and of God, and grace, and truth, and of the times in which we live.  And how to live godly, gracefully, and truthfully in these times—on Main Street, in the desert, or in a Dutch ghetto.

Enjoy.  Be edified.  Spread the news of God, Grace, and Main.  Comment.  Even criticize if you want.  Only if you would be nasty, there are other places, bogs, just for you.  We shall be a blog on the hill.  As to message and method.  Theology and charity.
